Morgan Dux

(Physical Therapy Assistant)

Morgan has been a practicing Physical Therapist Assistant since 2015 after graduating from Weatherford College. Prior to PTA school, she attended The University of Texas at Tyler to play soccer for 4 years for the Patriots and earn a B.A. in Health and Kinesiology. Her passion in Physical Therapy originated from her own sports injuries and successful recovery through physical therapy. Since practicing, she has worked with patients from various backgrounds and injuries within acute care, home health, and outpatient settings. She has continued her education and background by becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Certified in Dry Needling.

Morgan also works with our Parkinson Institute to develop treatment protocols that represent the gold standard of care for Parkinson patients. She has studied the chemical and physiological effects of sustained cardio, interval training, LSVT Big treatments, and PWR Moves! training on the Parkinson population, and enjoys creating a safe and challenging atmosphere for them to train.

A fun fact about Morgan is that she won free Chick-fil-A for a year for kicking a field goal!
