Dr. Vy Dang

(Physical Therapist)

As an avid learner, Vy made a life-changing decision to move to the United States to pursue her academic and personal goals in 2011. She started her academic journey at Richland College in Dallas, where she completed her associate degree. Later on, she joined Angelo State University to further her studies where she developed an interest in the scientific aspects of human movement.

Following her passion, she went on to earn a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2021. During her clinical experience, she developed a particular interest in manual therapy and treating various orthopedic conditions in a holistic approach. She recognizes the importance of addressing both physical and emotional factors in helping patients restore movement and maintain their well-being.

Dr. Dang also works closely with our Parkinson Institute to develop treatment protocols that represent the gold standard of care for Parkinson patients. She has studied the chemical and physiological effects of sustained cardio, interval training, LSVT Big treatments, and PWR Moves! training on the Parkinson population, and enjoys creating a safe and challenging atmosphere for them to train.

In her free time, Vy enjoys exploring the arts, going shopping, visiting museums, watching movies, and spending quality time with her family. She also has two adorable cats named Nami and Salem.
